古いオールドミスのようなヒロインが、社交界の貴公子であるヒーローの協力で花開いていくストーリーです。ヒーローは当初遊びのつもりですがヒロインの魅力に陥落。早々に手を出すものの自身の気持ちになかなか気付けず。ヒロインはヒーローが友人たちと自分を賭けの対象にしていたことをしりショックを受けるものの、ヒーローの謝罪を受け入れ結婚し幸せになります。本当にミイラ取りがミイラになる王道でした。

First, I like this author and her writing in general. But this book was lacking- maybe this is one of her earlier books.
The hero approaches her because he and his friends had a bet whether he can seduce her. Almost in the entire book, the hero doesnt realize he loves the heroin. Then, the heroin finds out about the bet. She almost immediately forgives him… she also goes back to her ugly look. Why??? She should have tortured him over a jealousy or something,,, he also has a past love that hurt him, but he doesnt even explain about it to her in the book. He also runs into the exgirlfriend and thinks she is still beautiful as a goddess… The heroin is too easy for the hero, He got her with no effort. With that said, it was too boring. There is too much H and not enough tension.
