I’m not convinced that the hero loves the heroin by reading this book. Something is missing. Plus, the heroin is portrayed as some kind of Buddah at the end or female Jesus?? Her first love and husband planned a revenge from the very beginning and he hires two men for a gang rape on her.. She still says “thank you” and “are you eating all right”??
Other reviewers say this book is too dark, and i thought i was ready. But it is not only that. The hero’s emotional depth of his love toward the heroin is not well drawn in the book.
