Haiku poet and scriptwriter Kimiko Nakanaga draws on her own experience of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake to create a story of seeking salvation from suffering. The work depicts the despair of a woman who has lost her love in a city turned to rubble, through the confused and distorted lens of her mind.
