Beautiful book

The book is a collection of different kinds of weaves done on a marudai. The photos are very high quality and curated well. It even has some ideas on each different usage. The catalog also has information on how to do each kumihimo at the end. All are easy to follow starting with the marudai set-up, upto the strand preparation, and the braiding itself. You also don't need to be a professional to appreciate this craft. The book is a beginner level and great for newbies wanting to learn about kumihimo.

説明もとてもわかりやすかった。
きちんとした道具がなくても、自作して組紐を作るやり方まで教えてくれるのはとても親切。
試しにやってみようと思う人にも良い本だと思う。

やはり手だけで編むより一定の細かさの目で色々な形がチャレンジしやすそうだなと思ったのだけど、どうにも台を用意することが面倒で敬遠してしまう…。(簡易台の作り方なども載っていたからお金をかけなきゃ出来ない！ってわけではないのだけども)
綺麗な組紐、作ってみたいんだけど、うーん腰が重いです。
