The manga ranked 8th in the "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2026" (Takarajimasha) Male Category.

I was instantly captivated right from the first chapter, despite its somewhat unassuming title, "The Kappa’s Barbershop."

The way the artist captures those fleeting moments when eyes meet is truly masterful—you can almost feel the vibrations coming off the page. The line between the mundane and the otherworldly is so seamless that I felt as if I had stepped right into that world myself.

The scene filled with hair everywhere was incredibly eerie; it felt so visceral that it gave me goosebumps. This manga is truly something special!
